This painting depicts the illustrious tenure timeline of the late Air Commodore (R) Syed Abid Raza's service in the Maintenance / Engineering Branch of the RPAF and later PAF, from 1948 to 1980. His postings to various airbases, the awarded medals, the aircraft types he worked on and important assignments like Head of Blue Flash 1 Project (induction of Mirage IIIE) and the first Managing Director of F-6 Rebuild Factory are portrayed here. This painting depicts the illustrious tenure timeline of the late Air Commodore (R) Syed Abid Raza's service in the Maintenance / Engineering Branch of the Royal Pakistan Air Force (RPAF) and later the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) from 1948 to 1980. It highlights his postings to various bases, the aircraft types he worked on, the awards he received, and the important positions he held during his career. These coveted positions include, Head of Blue Flash I Project: Induction of Mirage III in PAF, Paris, France (1966-1970), Officer Commanding 102 MU, PAF Base Faisal, Drigh Road, Karachi (1972-1976), and the last Project Director (1976-1979) and first Managing Director of the F-6 Rebuild Factory (now Aircraft Rebuild Factory) Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra (1979-1980).
He also served as O-IC D.S.S, Risalpur (1951-1953), OC FMS, PAF Base Masroor (Mauripur, 1959-1960), , OC MW Peshawar (1960-1965), Deputy Director Aircraft Engineering, Air Headquarters, Peshawar (1970-1972).
