Flight lieutenant Syed Abid Raza, was Chief Technical Officer at RPAF/PAF Base Korangi Creek (April 1955-April 1957). It was a Field Appointment and responsibility of the position entailed the technical management and maintenance of M. T. Vehicles, Ground Equipment and Training Aids.

Siddiqui sahib, ( standing 10th from left, later retired as Group Captain and was also the first Project Director of P-741 MRF, PAC, Kamra), Subhani sahib (standing 5th from left, later retired as Air Commodore and was also one of the MDs of P-741 MRF, PAC, Kamra), Ajmal sahib (later retired as Air Vice Marshal and was DG PAC, Kamra), and M. Saeed sahib (standing 7th from left, later retired as Air Vice Marshal and was also DCAS-M), in addition to confirming the location of PAF Base, Korangi Creek also.

Notes: The prefix "Royal" was removed when Pakistan became a republic on 23 March 1956. It has since simply been called the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

Tamgha-e-Jamhuria medal and respective ribbon were awarded to Flight Lieutenant Syed Abid Raza.
Notes:  Tamgha-e-Jamhuria, A.H.1375 (Republic Commemoration Medal, 1956): The medal was instituted on 16th March 1956 by the President of Pakistan to mark the transition of Pakistan to a Republic on 23rd March 1956.

Flight Lieutenant Syed Abid Raza was Senior Trade Training Officer, at PAF School of Aeronautics, Korangi Creek, Pakistan (April 1957-August 1957). It was a Training Appointment and the responsibility of the position entailed planning and conduction of all types of technical training of Airmen.
